Chapter History

Babson College currently has three sororities on campus: Sigma Kappa, Chi Omega, and Kappa Kappa Gamma. We were founded on May 5, 1976 by 60 women. Now we proudly have 56 active women in our chapter!

Sigma Kappa hosts many campus-wide events that focus on our philanthropies, scholarship, and sisterhood. We have a community living tower in the center of Babson's campus where 15 sisters reside each semester. The tower is a great place for us to come together in sisterhood.

Sigma Kappa is very active on campus. We partner with several organizations such as O.N.E, GIVE, and Pride on campus to promote diversity and inclusion. It is important for us as sorority women, especially at a business school, to support one another. Outside of Sigma Kappa, current sisters are also actively apart of some of the following organizations and leadership positions:

Sustainability Club, Habitat for Humanity, DSP, AKPsi, Peer Mentors, Resident Assistants, Peers on Wellness, CAB, FME Mentors, Pride, Give, CWEL, Sophomore Leadership Community, Babson Track and Field, Project W, BAPSA, Student Government Association, AMBSEL, and Babson Equestrian Team!
